We Can Power the Future with Solar

This year the Minnesota legislature set an ambitious goal to shift to 100 percent carbon-free electricity by 2040. This means we all have a lot to do as we work collectively to meet that goal.

Here at RREAL, we are ready to:

• Educate and grow the solar energy workforce by expanding our successful Solar Internship Program to Bois Forte and Fon du Lac;
• Build solar projects in Central & Northern Minnesota, including continued Solar for Humanity Projects in partnership with local Habitat chapters;
• Promote solar education to connect with young people across the region and inspire interest in the power of clean energy;
• Launch a majority Indigenous-owned clean energy development company with White Earth-based partners, which will expand solar power and help create jobs for recent graduates of the successful Solar Tech Program we helped create at White Earth Tribal & Community College;
• Work with allies to continue to better understand agrivoltaics and how we can use them to build a more sustainable future for our communities.

Together we can invest in solar projects in Central & Northern Minnesota AND invest in the in future of individuals who will choose to pursue a career in the growing solar energy sector.

Our vision is clean, sustainable, solar energy for all. We believe that, working together with a range of partners and supporters like you, we can pursue energy independence, mitigate our changing climate, reduce energy poverty, and create good jobs in our communities.

• Expand solar education and job training opportunities in Minnesota;
• Improve air quality by reducing emissions from fossil fuels;
• Fight climate change by bringing more clean, green, renewable solar power to our region;
• Provide an ongoing solution for energy poverty, helping lower income households and communities reduce energy costs; and
• Share a sense of optimism, knowing we have the power to make a difference, together.
